Week 33

Wowza! 33 Weeks...7 weeks left! Get excited!

Spent my day yesterday going to doctor and dentist appointments. First up, Doctor Rathee. This appointment went great--as they have so far this pregnancy. He did mention I will probably have a "big" baby...whatever that means! I came home and told Mark it is all his fault...lol! I will another appointment in 2 weeks and then it is down to every week...now that means it is getting closer! I also have another ultrasound to see just how "big" this baby will be and to see how cooperative Baby Clark is as far as placement in mid February. I sure hope she is a good little girl!

Off to the dentist! So I was finally able to explain to the hygenist that the reason I broke down into tears the first time I was there was not because I am some crazy human being...but that I was actually indeed pregnant the last time I was there in July! (I am sure in some small font they put "Big Baby" in my file after the first visit!)

I am busy doing paperwork on all that needs to be done as far as FMLA, short term disability, and insurance. So much to do...but I think I have it covered. So does Mark! He is busy practicing!

Hot...Hot....Hot!

Last night has proved that I am officially pregnant! For those of you that know me, I am usually always cold! It can be 115 degrees outside, but I am freezing in the air conditioning house. I really am a wimp when it comes to the weather.

Well, check this out. Last night, I was all comfy and cozy in my bed. Mark was out and about playing cards with the Huntington Group (our awesome neighbors who live on the opposite part of the "circle"). Well, I was fast asleep until I awoke to extreme heat! I literally thought I was going to go crazy kind of heat! Mark came home and had put the heat up to 74 degrees in the house (of course he was sleeping like a bear in his captain chair in the living room) when I woke up. He had also proceeded to put our small space heater (which on any other day has been a wonderful investment) up to 80 degrees! Holy moly! I was HOT!!!

On a complete side note.....when Mark finally crawled to bed he managed to lay next to me that he was breathing on my face! Ugh! Things just do not run as smoothly when you have a jicama in your belly! :)

Another sign...that there is definitely something growing inside my belly!

Week 32

Holy jicama! So not really sure if I have ever really seen a jicama before, but according to Baby Bump that is the size of Baby Clark! Week 32 belly!

I have enjoyed every minutes of this pregnancy, even with all the bathroom trips and at times being uncomfortable I have loved even those moments.

Can we say single digits???

Week 31 is here! And that means only 9 weeks left of this little bundle of joy in my belly! The anticipation of her arrival is getting greater and greater as the days and weeks pass by. I think my two week vacation from school was enough time for me to really pop as well---I have had more comments about how my belly has finally "shown" up now. (Although, my students and a few others sure know how to "butter" up their teacher, because I have also had a few students say I still look small!)

I have definitely been getting ready for this baby....at night I have been getting up every couple of hours to either use the restroom or switch from one side to the other. Still cannot wait to see what Little Clark will look like....until then I will be busy teaching and preparing for the arrival!

Week 30!

O.M.G.! Week 30!

Here is the belly shot:

Well, I made it to the ball drop on New Year's Eve (never mind that it was East Coast time)! I actually woke up when the new year began in Arizona--with the sound of fireworks and all! Happy New Year to all friends and family! Mark and I have been beyond blessed with great fortune in 2013. The year 2014 will surely bring many more amazing memories!

PS. I received news I had passed my 3 hour glucose test! Wahoo! Made my day today...and what will be the icing on the cake is if Bucky the Badger can pull out a win in the Capital One Bowl Game!
